Slipcode is a Techno, Trance and Psy DJ from the UK who started Dj’ing in 2018 at the Lisa Lashes School of Music.  Having started off listening to Hip Hop and Electro whilst at school, slipcode was introduced to electronic sampled music in the early 80's with groups such as Kraftwerk and The Art of Noise being prominent in his playlist.

Being hooked on loops, beats and samples it was inevitable that slipcode would make his way through the 80's synth beats and into Acid House and dived head first into the 90's Rave scene. Attending infamous named events by ESP-Dreamscape, Fantasia, World Dance and Raindance, becoming addicted to the thumping bass from huge sound systems and the never ending energy from the DJ's.
Late 90's and 2000's bought Hard House, Trance/Psy and Techno to slipcode's attention. Borrowing heavily from the earlier rave scene, slipcode immediately felt at home, and his true love of these  genres was realized. Of course slipcode still loves the old skool Rave, and can often be heard mumbling ‘hardcore will never die’.

Slipcode played events around the UK for various brands including: System Damage, ignition, Anarchy, Techno Pulse, Trance Unleashed and PaSSion, and a New Years Day gig for Trance Sanctuary/Peach coming up at Ministry Of Sound in Jan 2024.
Slipcode is a resident at System Damage, ignition, Techno Pulse, Trance Unleashed, Audasmic and Anarchy. He also has a monthly show on Afterhours.FM, FNOOB Techno, AWOL Radio and System Damage’s ‘Weekend Warmup’ podcast.

Slipcode has spent time in the studio with Kenny Palmer, David Jackson and Martin Cook (Bassjumper). He is looking to produce across Trance, Techno and Psy-Trance in the future, and has time scheduled with other producers. His denut track ‘Keep Moving Forward was released on Future Force Recordings in October and his followup track “Fire and Ice’ is due to release in November on the Ultratech White label.

Slipcode was bought up on the harder edge styles and prefers to play those when he can, but also enjoys the melodic vocal side of good Trance and Techno. Old skool breaks, deep Heavy basslines and Rave Stabs are key factors and Trance and Techno are his main love now. Melodic highs, thumping basslines, and a faster pace are now a staple in his mixes.

Pioneering his way through the traitorous dance scene from one of the North's capitols of dance history, Sheffield born Edd Croft stamps his mark wherever you dare to tread. Passionate about the music, the scene, the people, Edd creates his own compositions and style through twisted funk filled house and broken beats, uplifting trance, jilted NU NRG and filthy pounding hard house thrashes. Constantly challenging his own talent and technique, he produces consistent ear bleeding chaos and a cheesy grin that is always a crowd pleaser.

Edd has changed his styles over time, starting with uplifting, driving trance from the mid to late 90’s, then taking to the harder side of house and trance from the turn of the century, the scene then progressed to have a techno influence which caught Edd’s eye, funky, chunky and giving the music he loved a different edge.
