Artist Bio: Duncan Newell, who hails from the United Kingdom, is a very talented DJ and producer as well as
being co-owner of legendary underground labels Alter Ego Records and Tangled Audio. Known for
crafting texturally rich dance music inspired by multiple EDM genres such as Trance and Hard House,
Duncan has always held a close connection to creating music. It should come as no surprise that he
got started at the early age of twelve years old playing various instruments.
His refreshing approach to producing music and picking great tracks to play has led him to
performing at many clubs over 22 years performing alongside acts such as, Darren Porter, Jordan
Suckley, Mark Sherry, Re-Order, Signum, The Thrillseekers, Daniel Skyver, Ben Nicky, Everlight and
more.
He has released on notable labels like Armada, FSOE, Black Hole Recordings, Regenerate Records,
Knocturnal Knights as well as many on his own brands. Including tracks such as his popular remix of
Signum’s iconic “What Ya Got 4 Me?” which is filled with an infectious energy. Duncan boasts over
25+ releases and many mix compilation albums where listeners can hear him creating a sonically
diverse palette, filled with a mesmerizing music.
